GALLERY ADMIN FLASH TEMPLATES HELP
1. HOW TO START?
1) First of all
please unzip the template's package after you have downloaded it to
your computer. When you have unzipped the template you will see
4 folders in your template package.
Flash,
HTML,
Fonts
PSD.
2) Open the folder named "HTML". (see picture below)
3) All the files
and directories whic are into the "html" folder drag and drop on the
server (on your hosting place) by FTP client like as CuteFTP
2. HOW TO SET "permission" ?
1) After you have
drag and drop all files and directories into the server, before start
installation process you should set "permission".
HOW TO DO IT?
Choose the file
named "config.php", click on it by the RIGHT button of the mouse and
after that in the opened popup window click on "properties / CHMOD".
2)
In the new opened popup window enter number 777 in the permission field
as it given below, then click on "Apply" and then "OK"
3. HOW TO INSTALL "GalleryAdmin flash
template" ON THE SERVER?
1) The installation process is so easy that it takes just a fiew minutes.
After "permission" setting you can start installation of your template.
for this you should choose
http://www.yourdomain.com/install.php in your browser's address bar, after that you will see the following on your screen:
NOTE ! in the end of installation process please then follow the instructions:
delete the file "install.php" from your server,
set "config.php" "permission" on 755 and
set "gallery" folder's "permission" on 777.
After that the instalation process is successfully finished!

4. HOW TO CREATE OR RENAME THE NAME OF CATEGORIES BY
THE TEMPLATE'S ADMIN CPANEL?
After entering your Admin Cpanel http://www.yourdomain.com/admin.php you should create your gallery categories.
For
this you should fill in "Add new category" your category name for
example "Archtecture" and click on the "ADD" button. The
category is successfelly added to your template.
If you want to rename any categories in future (for example rename "Landscape" to "Objects") do the following:
click
on the blue button next to the "Landscape" and in the "NEW CATEGORY
NAME" field write the new category name, in our case it's "Objects"
then click "Submit Query"
5. HOW TO SORT THE NAME OF CATEGORIES BY THE
TEMPLATE'S ADMIN CPANEL?
After created categories of your Gallery, you can sort them using the Alphabit or as you like.
6. HOW TO INSERT PHOTO-IMAGES INTO THE TEMPLATE BY
THE TEMPLATE'S ADMIN CPANEL?
Enter your template's Admin Cpanel http://www.yourdoamin.com/admin.php and click the "Browse" button.
Then point in your computer the photo which you want to add in your gallery and click "open"
After the "Add new picture:" is filled in, click on the "ADD" button.
If the sizes of
your photos is larger than it is pointed in the process of
installation, the program notifies you about size overdoing and it
doesn't insert the given photo in the gallery.
If the given sizes are suitable, your photos are successfully placed in the gallery.
7. HOW TO SORT THE PHOTO-IMAGES BY THE TEMPLATE'S
ADMIN CPANEL?
When your photo-images are insereted into the categories you can sort them using the Alphabit or as you like.
8. HOW TO INSERT OR REPLACE THE AUTHOR'S NAME INTO
THE TEMPLATE?
It is easy as 1,2,3
So....
open the file named "text.html" or "text.txt" which are include in your template package.
To open it you can
by any text editor like as "Notepad" or "Microsoft word" and replace
the given name and last name with yellow background by yours.
You can also replace gallery name "Photo portfolio" by yours as well.
Save your file (save as) "text.html" or "text.txt" and upload it on your server.
IMPORTANT!!!! do
not touch white spaces in the "text.html" file! like as &name1 or
&name2 just change only highlighted text.
9. HOW TO RENAME BUTTON NAMES?
open the file named "text.html" or "text.txt" which are include in your template package.
To open it you can
by any text editor like as "Notepad" or "Microsoft word" and replace
the given button names with yellow background by yours.
Save your file (save as) "text.html" or "text.txt" and upload it on your server.
IMPORTANT!!!! do
not touch white spaces in the "text.html" file! like as &menu2,
&menu3, &menu4, and &menu5 just change only highlighted
text.
10. HOW TO INSERT OR REPLACE THE CONTENT (text) INTO
THE TEMPLATE?
open the file named
"text.html" or "text.txt" which are include in your template package.
To open it you can by any text editor like as "Notepad" or "Microsoft
word".
For example you want to add or replace the text in the section "About us".
In the "text.html"
or "text.txt" file find section ////// About ////// and replace the
given text with yellow background by yours. Save your file (save as)
"text.html" or "text.txt" and upload it on your server.
You can do it with any template texts by analogy.
IMPORTANT!!! do not
touch white spaces in the "text.html" file! like as &about_txt1,
&about_txt2, &about_txt3, and so on... just change only
highlighted text.
